Mini pizza cupcakes
Although home-made pizza is a frequent guest of our cuisine, I do not cease to look for new ways to make this favorite dish of my household. That’s how the mini pizza cupcakes came into being. Pizza, but in muffin molds with a subtle fragrant filling and the size of a larger snack. Great, isn’t it ?!
Mini pizza cupcakes are great and like any meal, lunch or dinner, they are great as a snack in good company. But you can also bring them to a snack business or pack them for school snacks. The great thing is that mini pizza cupcakes can be made as pizza in many different flavors. So you can make a part of stuffing with ham, part with mushrooms, part with tuna, any one you like! Here I give you a recipe for pizza dough and stuffing. However, you can also use your pizza pizza dough as a substrate (dough). The combination is truly overwhelming. NEEDED:
For dough:
300 g flour
2 tablespoons dry yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
200 ml of warm water
100 ml of olive oil
For stuffing:
200 ml tomato salsa
150 g of ham
150 g of Trappist cheese
150 g of mushrooms
1 fresh pepper
tablespoon of oregano
PREPARATION:
For the dough mix flour, salt, sugar and yeast. Gradually add oil and water and knead the dough. Transfer it to a closed container, oil it slightly on all sides and let it rest for 20-30 minutes in a warm place.
Meanwhile, chop the ham into small strips for stuffing. Cheese grated. Clean and grate the mushrooms thinly. Chop the peppers into small cubes.
When the dough rises, move it to a work surface and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape small balls, flatten each one with your hands and extend it into a circle with a diameter slightly larger than the opening on the muffin mold.
Oil for muffins. Put a piece of flattened dough in each hole. Fingers shape the basket. In each basket put a teaspoon of salsa, then put ham, peppers, cheese and finally mushrooms. Sprinkle all over again with some salsa and oregano.
Bake in oven preheated to 200 * C for 20 minutes.
Serve hot or cold.
